Jen Lada, Fox 6 sports personality, was guest speaker at Whitnall Park Rotary Club on Tuesday, April 26, 2011.
She joined the local Fox 6 station in 2006. She's a Marquette University graduate who describes herself as a tomboy who was playing the games rather than watching them on television. She began her on-screen reporting as the sports anchor on the weekends in Rockford, Illinois. Ms. Lada concentrated her presentation on the challenges of being a female sports reporter, prompting many questions from those in attendance.
