Whitnall Park Rotary Club Membership When you join Whitnall Park Rotary Club (WPRC), you’ll be part of a group of Rotarians that make great things happen. And of course, you’ll have fun! Whether you are at a weekly meeting, a community service event, a fundraiser, or a social event, you’ll enjoy the camaraderie that is Rotary.
The Whitnall Park Rotary Club meets the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month at 5:30 PM at Muskego Community Circle located inside Lakepoint Church at S63 W13694 W. Janesville Rd., Muskego, WI 53150. Each meeting we enjoy a meal and hear speakers who are leaders in non-profits, businesses, civic groups, local municipalities and governments. We learn about current issues in our local community, statewide, nationally, and internationally. You are sure to leave each meeting with some new information and deeper connections to fellow Rotarians.
WPRC is always looking for new members who are committed to service in the community. Rotary offers a chance to network and make lasting friendships with buesiness, community, and professional leaders.
We encourage you to attend a couple meetings to learn more about our club and ask questions. Once you have decided to apply for membership, a proposal form is submitted by a member on your behalf. After review, members must be accepted by vote of the Board of Directors.
 As a WPRC member, you will be a part of a worldwide network of more than 1.4 million men and women who make a difference in the lives of people in our community and around the world. Rotarians work together to find solutions for issues of poverty, disease, clean water, environment, and illiteracy. Rotarians are welcome at any of the 46,000 clubs around the globe and enjoy the worldwide camaraderie of an international organization.

Are there other costs? Yes, routinely there are additional optional events and/or auctions that come up from time to time including purchasing of event tickets or financial support of an event.
How do I get involved in committees? Seek out the chairperson or a member of that committee and volunteer to help.
What if I cannot make all the meetings? There is not an attendance requirement. The general expectation is to attend as many as your schedule allows and to also consider and balance attendance at other community service projects and fundraising events.
Where are the meetings and how long do they last? We have two club meetings per month. Club meetings are the 1st & 3rd Wednesdays at 5:30 PM at Muskego Community Circle located inside Lakepoint Church at S63 W13694 W. Janesville Rd., Muskego, WI 53150. They usually last one hour. How does the club raise funds? We have fundraisers to support our scholarships and programs. Our biggest fundraisers are our Christmas and Soring Craft Fairs. We also host a Sheepshead Tournament which is gaining popularity. Participation at these events from ALL members is strongly encouraged. We continue to seek additional sources for fundraising and these are always evolving.
Is there a schedule of events that I should be aware of? Yes, we have annual events that have been a tradition in the club. Because the dates change, check with the weekly newsletter, website, and social media for more details. These major events are: January: Annual Sheepshead Tournament fundraiser
Is there a Board of Directors? Yes, the Board of Directors meets each month and has approximately 8-10 members from within the club. The officers are President, President-Elect, Past President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Other directors include Club Service, Community Service, Youth Service, International Service, Vocational Service, and Public Relations. |
