Each calendar year, the Whitnall Park Rotary Club provides four rounds of Educational Grants to area schools to assist teachers with the important work they do for our youth. For the fourth round of the 2024-2025 school year, we granted $1,275 in total to the following projects:
- St. Alphonsus Greendale – $250 toward supplies to create a School Store reward incentive program for 6th-8th graders
- St. Alphonsus Greendale – $250 toward 24x36 magnetic world map and magnetic pins for Reading Around the World reading project
- St. Alphonsus Greendale – $200 for Triple Art Easel to be used by kindergarten students
- St. Alphonsus Greendale – $75 to purchase chair pockets for 2nd grade students’ desk chairs to assist with their organizational skills.
- St. Mary’s Hales Corners – $500 toward purchasing books to start a book club for 2nd graders (two separate classrooms)
We want to thank the dedicated educators at these schools and are happy to help with the funding of these great projects.
With this last round of grants, Whitnall Park Rotary Club has granted $5,467 in education grants this school year.
