Our Students of the Month for December 2021-January 2022 are Amirah Mirza and Janita Wagar, seniors from Whitnall High School.
In 2017 Whitnall Park Rotary established a "Students of the Month" program. Each month, during the academic year, two students are chosen from a high school in the club's geographical area. The students attend the two monthly breakfast meetings during the two months in order to acquaint them with Rotary service projects, themes, and issues. At the end of the two months each student is given the opportunity to provide a short summary of her/his high school activities, aspirations for a career, future plans, and what they learned about our club.
